Description of the town and region

City: Denia
Denia is a beautiful tourist town. It boasts a 20-kilometer coastline with sandy beaches in the north and a rocky, steep coastline in the south. A distinctive feature of the town is the vast number of scattered one-story houses painted white, covered with red tiles and equipped with a porch, typically called “riu-rau” here. The road leading to Jávea, which passes through the Las Rotas corner and Cape San Antonio, leads to the Montgó Protected Landscape Area. It has a very interesting Archeological Museum, with memorabilia from the Muslim invasion period.
